Abstract:It is well-known that affine Kac-Moody algebras can be associated with vertex algebras through modules and twisted modules. In this talk, we consider the corresponding problem for a class of Lie algebras called extended affine Lie algebras that generalize affine Lie algebras. This is based on a recent joint work with Shanbin Tan and Nina Yu.
